Radio Control RC Hobby Weekend report!

What a weekend at Glenmarie, HPC, Shah Alam. The LRP Asian Nitro Masters RC Race could have been better if not the jealous “beep” weather. It was like raining here and there and not now but when you start yes here I come raining like got thunder, lightning some more. Conclusion, the race ended with no finals. So all final result was just based on the qualification of the total 3 rounds.
Back to the RC Hobby thing. Landed at 3pm on Thursday, 12th April and my friend Abdul Hakim(arghh) already there at the LCCT to pick me up. We gone direct to the track. We reached like 4:10pm like that and guess how Glenmarie welcomed me? Yea, with the damn rain. My friend Hakim and I thought we have a good chance of practicing the new track. And damn again, we stuck. I wasted the whole afternoon looking at the rain and how I wish I was still back home in KK, Sabah.
The Next day, Friday 13th April, we came early like 8am already there. The weather was OK but the track was still soak from the yesterday’s rain.
The above was at 11am. After only 1 lap of running.
Now, this is only at 12:01pm. It was raining again. :cursing emoticon here:
Waiting boringly. Other racers also just chit chatting nothing much can do.
I am not sure what to write here because I’m still tired and I spent the whole day, checking like 108 emails, with 410 spams and lazily just blog hopping here and there and of course updating the RC Nitro Offroad Blog. Thanks to a few friends here who are still loyal and ‘Keh Poh” sikit want to know what I got from all this race that I decided to post it even with a lazy attitude now.

Ok, here what I’ve got.
Yep. That’s all. No cash prizes in this race. there were lucky draws like engines but obviously I didn’t get that too. 
I qualified 3rd on two(2) rounds but gone bad to 8th position on the last round of qualifying putting me 5th. I’ve got pissed when the 3rd position gone to someone not even 4th on the 2 rounds. I do not how they computed the overall position but it really shocked me. Anyway, thats racing. Better shut up and try again next time.

hcfoo: not so unique… we have like thousands people doing this world wide even in Malaysia the hobbyshop quite too many except in Sabah. But thanks for ‘hope’. I ever won big too. I Top qualifier and won the Monster Truck class. its just not this time. bad luck.

did you try contacting officials on how the results were computed? not to argue, just to find out you know? maybe they did mess up…dont know if you dont try buddy

about your race, hopefully you’ll have better luck next time. Maybe they awarded the wins to the cars that were able to stay the cleanest?
