Hiccup: Hosting Company Suck Big Time!

I just able to go online and Thank GOD, to find out that PapaJoneh.com is now up and running. Damn it! It was down the whole day and not only that, their normal telephone line also down. [tag]Hosting Company really suck big time[/tag]. Now, where’s the promise of 99.99% Uptime Guarantee[every month down!], Quick Customer Support[Yea, after frequent ticket submission and long outstation call], Fast and Reliable Connectivity[Reliable your head!] and Quality Unmatched by Competitors[Now this is definitely NOT TRUE -where's the quality again?]

The promise that gone elsewhere!

Probably, they have this kind of error message come out every time the server down.
windows error message - seriously!

and they could probably have this Option Hidden setup in their server settings.
Interesting setup probably used for my server!

Now, I do not really mind about this blog but my other money making sponsored blog was down too. Now that’s really really pissed me off. Are they going to pay the day income I loss during the server down? Knowing their style, I do not think so. Damn it.

If this post is the last post of this blog, man. You know what happen to PapaJoneh.com lah.
I am still angry even as late as or as early as 3:33am now.

Note: To the Hosting Company out there, watch out. You may get a crazy-strict customer like PapaJoneh. Now as at 3:40am, we are actually in the [tag]Labour Day Holiday[/tag] and Wesak Day on Wednesday. . So, Happy Labour Day to all my friends and parents.

Yeh, I noticed your blog was down for the whole day – because I came over to visit and it wouldn’t load. Your host is based in Sarawak, no?

LOL. no no. Here’s what happened. My blog was hosted with them in their Singapore server. Been running there for over a month plus without any “major” problems. My blog traffic rose drastically one day, and the server still manage to handle it.

I transfered it to their server in Cyberjaya because the server is new (1 month old) and hosted locally. Unfortunately the harddisk broke. It’s one of those very unlucky cases. Must have been a manufacturing defect, it happens even on desktops — rarely, but it does. It’s not their fault, there’s nothing they can do to prevent it. It’s like how you can’t stop a natural disaster.

I still recommend them to people. They are cheap and good. There’s no point in getting a 5gb space hosting, when you hardly fill up 50mb. Just my opinion.

thanks 10/March: I will take that into consideration. if they have a good pricing for me, i jump on board
for info, my space usage is really more than 50MB in total. Fully Paid. this blog is just one of them

No prob. If that’s the case, you might want to check out http://shinjiru.com.my as well. I think I’ve read in one of hongkiat’s post that he uses shinjiru. He’s been onto digg’s front page a few times, so the servers should be good.

well, i have my other blog hosted by them… so i think i can’t named their company name her.. but i hinted u here.. from Kuching Sarawak.
currently, papajoneh.com server is provided by Azmeen from HTNet
