Kuyt final penalty scored

The final result - Liverpool in the Champs League Final
For info, It was Liverpool’s 11th victory in 12 competitive penalty shoot-outs.

“We have the best goalkeeper in the world,” said Gerrard praising Pepe Reina, Liverpool Goalie.

The so-called [tag]Chosen One, Jose Mourinho[/tag] had something to say after the lost.
Jose Mourinho said something

Mourinho, characteristically, was unapologetic, reprising the theme by saying that his team had sought to win the tie while a physically fresher Liverpool had played for penalties. “I felt that even against a team who has only been playing in the Champions League, we were very strong,” said Mourinho.

“Physically in the second half and extra time we were the only team that tried to win in 90 and 120 minutes. But penalties are part of the game. They scored and we didn’t score and they are in the final.”

Here what Rafa said …
Rafa Benitez said something

“Every player and every supporter was a hero tonight. The team all worked very hard – against a very good team,” Liverpool coach Rafa Benitez said.

“I was confident in the players (for the penalties). They like to practice penalties every day after training.”

Now, [tag]Papa’s dream of All English Final and All Red Teams will come true[/tag] if Manchester United do what they do best, Beat Other Teams. In this case The AC Milan.

To my big brother, [tag]PapaJeaven – Hardcore Chelsea Fan[/tag], Sorry. Next yearlah ok. We still can go out for [tag]Teh Tarik and Roti Bomb at Salim’s Restaurant[/tag].

LOL Jose Moanrinho strikes again. To be honest, I like Rafa better than the special one. I have no respect for those who goes as low that uses social class to attack one’s background as a benchmark for education level.

hey buddy, i commented on the robbery post about the scoring and stuff

im a silly american and i dont know what the “aggregate score 1-1″ means. was the match score 1-0? how did they go extra time? how does that all work? is it with the goal differential between the two matches or something? HELP!

rdub: yes, the match was 1-0 score at full time at Anfield. Meaning it was a draw from the first away match at Chelsea Stamford bridge. There, Liverpool was beaten 0-1. Yes goal difference between the previous and the last night match. If liverpool had scored 1-1 at Chelsea’s, Liverpool already won just by a mere draw 0-0 at anfield. that’s away goal advantage. I hope i can make it anymore cleared for u. my poor english doesn’t help too.
