The question why you want a credit card is actually a big question to some people but not so to others that already having multiple credit cards in their possessions. It is quite normal actually. I, for one, have three credit cards in my wallet right now. Not to mention, the other two debit cards.

Lucky today I’m off day again . Last night been hanging out with my old RC Hobby Friends doing the thing that we love so much other than our family of course, Radio Control Racing. I have been so out of their rc league that last night we hang out till 2am, I mean until this early morning, radio controlling and chit chatting about the old days.

We hang out at Baskelball court behind the Cempaka Square Club at Penampang. The meeting scheduled at 9:30pm but as usual, Malaysian or should I just say, Sabahan time, we all end up meeting everyone at 11pm!!! I was not there to race or play, because all my RC stuffs are in the storeroom. You know, as the “pantang” aka “taboo” thing goes, when your wife is pregnant, the man is not allowed to do any wrenching, hammering, screwing, banging or whatever ‘lah’ in that nature. So how can I go RC Racing without the screwing, tuning, wrenching and whatever ‘lah’ again. therefore, I just watch lah.

But anyway, the meeting was actually for the RC Drifting Racers only. We were there because they invited us as courtesy to bless them with this new RC class. AND also to ‘racun’ us to follow them. For those who has not known me, I am a hardcore RC Nitro Offroad racer. So this Electric Powered Radio Control car, is nothing to me. I love the sound of the engine roaring and the smell of the nitro burned at RPM more than 30,000. Oh yes, my rc nitro truggy engine can goes up to 30,000 and even 40,000 RPM. That’s Revolution Per Minute ;). Anyway, as a courtesy for their official invitation, I just go ‘lah’.

To cut thing short, I do not know how to say this, but somehow they managed to ‘racun’ aka ‘hooked’ me into this Drifting racing. Just check the video. A few laps using my friend’s car, I already like “Oh no, another next month budget gone overboard!”. LOL.

Now, the video was taken at Tanjung Aru Plaza Parking lot. But the racers are the same people came last night. I did not bring my video or camera, so last night drifting gone just like that. But I think you know it by now how rc drifting raced. Alright. That’s all. And oh ya, if any of you in the vicinity of Kota Kinabalu at around 9:30pm. Just go check them again, maybe I’ll be there too - Kena racun sudah kan , at Asia City’s Parking lot, 4th floor. They will be doing some serious drifting again.

But what the heck, I just throw a bonus video of how I break or run-in my new buggy engine. Now, new engine need to be run-in in such a way so that it is ready to be used for racing where the RPM is so much higher and the temperature is around 100C to 140C. So a proper engine break-in is a must.

You know, when you are living alone in a big house with your spouse and children only, you tend to think what else you need. Now, that is the thought I have before the parents come and stay with you. Suddenly, everything is not enough. It is not that they are complaining or what. It is just the feeling you have when seeing them walking around within your house that makes you wish you have done the house better.

Remember the Survivor Series MyJosh Style? Well, here is the part 2. He is recovering well and we noticed he is getting smarter than before. I mean, he is not like this before the “incident”. He somehow can grab things faster just by watching and listening to us.

At 3 years old and by tomorrow 26th June, 3yrs 1 month, he already can speak fluent english. Obviously, not like his father lah. He sometimes surprised us by asking questions that we had never thought a boy at his age can come up with. Question like, “Mommy, why Papa must go to work?”, “Papa, mommy hurt. Why Papa didn’t help?”.

Wow. Am I blessed or not? I Thank GOD I have My Josh Luke. I Thank GOD the chicken pox infection came at this early age. Despite all that thankfulness, I still encounter the obstacles of how to answer and act in front of him, the right way. Because whatever I do, or we do, he will copy. This is the dilemma I sometimes have to crack my head to solve it. Obviously, I am still not used to being the ‘good father’ for him. So, I just hope and pray, he will grow as natural as a boy should be while absorbing only the good things from me and from the life he’s meant to face with.

Oh well. My son, you be good ok. I know you can use the computer already and one of this day, I guess sooner that we thought; I am sure when you come across this post, You know that Papa loves you, Mommy loves you and we will always pray for your health and happiness. So if ever you want to revenge the day Papa beat you on the leg, you know now that there were all because we love you and for your own benefit.
