Father’s Day in Hawaii!

It’s Father’s Day today, 17th June 2007. It is on Sunday and what a perfect day to go out and have fun with the family you love so much. I am already excited with all the short messages I received in my Motorola V3i Inbox and still replying them while I am thinking on where to bring my lovely wife and my son Josh. Guess what? My first thought is none other than Hawaii. Yes, to be specific Maui Vacations.

Hahaha :D . I cannot wait to see my wife’s face when I tell her this. It is going to be the greatest gift for her, for my son Josh and of course for us all. I never give her anything even on the last Mother’s Day but I guess by giving her this surprise vacation rental, especially the Kuau Pool House will do the trick.

Kuau Pool House The location of the Kuau Pool Hale is so perfect. It sits directly on the beach with the beautiful ocean in front and the Maui Mountain viewable. I can already see myself lying helplessly on the balcony’s chair, feeling the fresh air going through my body, my wife displaying her new two-piece bikini and my son running around with his new swimming trunk. How wonderful life could be. If that is not enough, we can always do the short walk to the spectacular beach cove and enjoy the crystal blue scenery of which the protected reef will be visible by the naked eyes. Just great! Spectacular Beach Cove

Did I mentioned the 4 bedrooms, full kitchen utilities house has the high speed internet access too  How cool is that. Being a blogaholic person I may say to myself, my wife will kill me if I ever try to use it on this vacation. Maybe during her sleep then ;) Hahaha. I am sure everything will be forgiven and probably I might be lucky to get a nice kiss right smack on the lips ;) I guess my son will give me the “high-ten” he usually give us when he is happy. :D

Maui Palm Garden Cottage I just remember, wife has this phobia to living too close to the sea. She somehow can imagine the dark ugly creature with the spears coming out of the sea and just walk through the house looking for food. Yes, she did tell me more than once. No problem dear. I just got the right place for you :) The Maui Palm Garden Cottage. The house is just perfect for her. It is not on the beach and in fact it can offer a peaceful, back at home village style setting. With no disturbance from other tourist, it will be totally a quiet tranquil retreat for us all. Even though it is at the most affordable price you can get, it still offers full kitchen utilities. With variety mature palms and citrus trees, flat grassy ground outlining the property, I can just let loose my hyper active son without worrying if he fall somewhere. We can even play our favorite radio control off-road buggy without neighbor complaining about the sound. So cool.

The conversation probably will go like this:
me: So my dear lovely wife, would you like to go to Hawaii Maui Vacations with me?

wife: What “Mawi”?

me again: Dear, it is not “Mawi”, our local singer, it’s Maui in Hawaii. :D

wife answer back: Ohhh silly me [slap her forehead]. But my darling dear, even though today is the Father’s Day and it is on Sunday, YOU ARE WORKING FROM 9 O’CLOCK IN THE MORNING TO 8 PM IN THE NIGHT, DEAR!!!! [With a slight increase in the volume]

me: Oh my, I forgot. I am working today on Sunday. Sorry dear. [This time already blushing] At least I have the thought, dear. [Silently, I hang up the phone feeling stupid].

Oh well, life can be brutal sometimes but when it is not, I definitely want to experience the unique vacation such as this. There is no other place in the world I rather spend my valuable holiday time other than with my loving family and a great island escapade. Dreams can come true. One day, dear. One day, I promise.
