WordPress 2.2.1 Upgrade!

The WordPress 2.2 was released to all bloggers on Wednesday May 16th and now another Worthy Upgrade for all [tag]Wordpress Fan[/tag]. Here the [tag]Wordpress 2.2.1 upgrade[/tag] ready to be downloaded. Just great. Mine will be upgraded as early as tonight or probably as late as 10:00am tomorrow June 22nd 2007. 
There are a few bugs fixed but the concern I have is the [tag]securities vulnerabilities[/tag] as listed below:
* [tag]Remote shell injection in PHPMailer[/tag]
* [tag]Remote SQL injection in XML-RPC[/tag] Discovered by Alexander Concha.
* [tag]Unescaped attribute in default theme[/tag]
Thanks to the [tag]Great WordPress Team[/tag] for their wonderful job and ever caring to us all. I want to say thanks to HTNetSol too for helping me upgrade as quick as possible. Great Server service.

I really hope the folks at fantastico can upgrade their wp package as soon as the latest one is released.

The upgrade process can easily be followed. just be patience.
Well, fantatisco always late my friend. the upgrade is not that hard. WordPress gives the thorough run through for the upgrading. One thing for sure, backup everything.
