Where do you like to travel this year?

Traveling away from your usual local favorite is not always the best way to support your local tourism industry. You definitely not want to do that on the Visit Malaysia Year 2007. For a Malaysian, you just have to support your own hot spots.

There are many beautiful places to visit in Malaysia and one of my favorite is the Nexus Karambunai in Tuaran Sabah. I can safely say it is the heaven on earth resort. It is not cheap that is for sure but that is expected from a five star resort. I just cannot explain it here how good this place is. What more from a person with no journalism background like me.

On the other hand, just being honest here, the sound of being in the local resort not as exciting as saying you spend your time in the foreign country like for example at the Pigeon Forge vacation rentals in the smoky mountains. Staying inside the log cabin facing out the vast green trees seems to be the right remedy out of the busy life you had. So yes, why not. When I have the cash, a million perhaps, I will definitely go to such place and just forget everything.

I have only been to Sabah 2 times. Out of the places, I like Kundasang town the most. Not the resorts but the village itself. It felt as if you’re in completely different place. The weather is cool and the view is just fantastic… I’m at lost for words….

Even we support the local tourism, we ought to go some place new too to gain a new experience or to learn up their culture. Cool sharing here :)
