My poor office

I want to talk a bit about my office here. I warned you earlier, this could be so boring. In fact, the whole environment is so boring. Right from my department, the Computer department, right down to the Admin department and ending at the Accounts department. I am not talking about the people here. I am talking about how they managed their works with old technology.

For a starter, my computer department supposed to be the coolest department when come to the computer that we supposed to have in our possession, right? We are expected to have the flat screen LCD type monitor, big powerful processor, mega RAMs and color laser printer. Well, guess what, none of them. Surprise? Not yet? Well, try this, our accounts staff still using the payroll software that is based on DOS. Yeah, the white on black screen kind of look. To make things worst, they are actually using 19 inches flat screen on each of the staffs table. While us still using the old CRT monitor. Fair or not?

Now you know why I bought a laptop for my own use. ;)

That situation sounds very familiar ;-) Perhaps the relevant persons need that little … extra push?

Now I know why you bought your laptop to the office. Haha. At least when you are bored with the whole environment, you can still fall back to your laptop for some smiles. I still remember it has some cute stickers stuck on it by Josh right? Anyway, how come your department which is supposed to be the most advance department in the whole company still using CRT monitor? Aiyo, why the company so “kiam siap” eh?
