Hello everyone? Thanks for all the wishes for my [tag]newborn babies[/tag]. This is going to be a short post. I am actually escaping from the Papa duty for just half an hour to post this great news. I will be writing in list style so to make the reading quickly to the point. I will write elaborate post when I have the “escape” again. For now here there are in simple English:
- Water bag broke at 4:30am, 10th August 2007. Friday.
- Send my elder son, Josh, to auntie at 4:40am. He was still sleeping.
- Reach KK Specialist Centre Clinic just before 5am. The thing opened 6cm.
- They decided to send to Hospital at Likas due to 33 weeks only. 7 weeks early.
- At 5:55am, the thing opened 8cm. Doctor Felice said, “No need! We try deliver here!”. Ambulance arrival too late.
- At 6:47am, Twin 1 baby out. Head 1st. Normal delivery.
- At 7:14am, Twin 2 out. Breach – leg first. Normal delivery. Clinic Record without surgery at 33 weeks.
- All in videos recording
- Both babies weight: same 2.3Kg.
- Twin 1: length=42cm, head=33cm; Twin 2: length=42.5, head=31.5cm
- Stayed overnight. Didn’t sleep the whole Saturday. Thought of Josh, weird feeling, stomach ache
- Back at home at 3pm. Realized everything not ready yet. Took Josh from auntie. Happy Papa. Missed Josh. Damn work at 6pm till 8pm.
- Babies decided to test us. They one by one milk, pee-pee, poo-poo, milk again. repeat this routine till 6am Sunday. Stole nap time from babies break. Woke at 730am. Both babies cries.
- Now babies nap again. Wife relax a bit. Papa typing all this.
There a little bit of everything. Thank GOD even at 33 weeks only, normal delivery smooth, babies normal, wife smiling. I have now one 3 years old, Josh Luke, two identical twins(Doctor said so) boys with confirmed names, [tag]Preston and Presley Joneh[/tag]. [P'Jay] 
*** Sorry. Preston is the Twin 1, on the left, Presley on the right.
Ok, got to stop. Josh calls, babies need attention and wife need to go to toilet. See you on next post with lots of pictures and thanks for listening.

They look gorgeous! Hope you have a good support system for the next two to three years — you know you’re gonna have your hands full now!
So congrats to you and your wife for a safe and surgery-less delivery, and enjoy your 2 years of sleepless nights while you still can.

congrats. i remembered that the first week will be the one where you’ll be most sleep deprived. But wait, this is different! This is 2 boys! I guess that will be a double dose of sleep deprivation! My sleepless nights are supposed to start 3mth+ from now.

Many congrats to you. Mama J did a good job and both your boys looks pinkish and in nice sizes. Will wait for the rest of your twins story. Everyone in the family need you more now. Hope you able to cope well.

Congrats PapaJoneh!!! All the best with the two newly born twins. 108 is sure an auspicious date for the Cantonese. It means “definitely prosper”. I just can’t wait to see you prosper with those two lucky angels…or should I say cupids?? Haha…

i had very much ahead planned for a C-sec…….delivered ard 36 weeks but only abt yr twins’ size. i can imagine how huge d mumy’s stomach ehh !!

Hi PapaJ, this is a post-question for this post. Wondering why was in the first place Dr F wanted to send ur wife to deliver in Likas Hospital? Curious!!!.. yeah, backpost reading! hehehe

joandarcy – Because of the 33 weeks. Too premature especially for Twins. Any Doctor will ask the patient to go the general hospital because of the full equipment there. Dr F already prepared documents and everything but since the ambulance too late and it already open, twins wanna come out already, Dr. F decided that she has to take the responsibility and just do it. She did prayed before delivering the babies. I was there and I took video of everything. Dr. F just awesome. Babies come out normal with no complication. I would not and will not give to other doctor. She is just great.
