What will you do if you have no skill in Photography?

Yeah, what will you do if you have no skill whatsoever in photography? You take snap shot especially with your cybershot or in other word, much cheaper camera than the DSLR, you end up taking not the real thing as you saw with your own eyes. You will curse, “Hey, this is not what I want!!”
It happens to me quite a lot. Sometimes it frustrated me to the extreme of just taking out my credit card and buy the damn DSLR. Oh so I thought. Luckily, I came into conclusion earlier that if you are just not that skill, no matter what camera you use, it will still end up bad. So, I am glad too that I do not force myself of just buy the expensive camera. I know my capability. I slack a lot in that department. Hahaha. I still wish I know some tricks with the Photoshop software though. It can help to “cover” my slack of camera manual setting skill. Hahaha.
So after many visits to my favourite friend’s blog at Eshark Design especially after looking all those nice pictures, the one with HDR some more, I decided to learn or in other words, try to clicks all those many options in the Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended to modify to some of my awful pictures of my family. I don’t know whether it turn out to be all right or not, but I see there’s a future in my attempt. All I need is more time to thinker with all this settings.

Here after “disturbing” some setting. I know, need a few more tweak there ![]()

Here all my three kids, Josh, Preston and Presley trying the bicycle with mommy trying to stay calm.

Okay here another try to tweak the shadow, highlight, brightness, contrast etc. Yep, I have no idea what I clicked already. LOL!!

So, so far that’s my only experience with all this photo editing. I know I need a lot of time with the Photoshop setting minus real capable camera. Any help will of course be appreciated here to anyone out there. Thanks in advance. To that, as a bonus for reading up to here, I would like to giveaway an Orovo detox link to you all.
HAPPY WEEKEND!!!

I guess it rolls back to your passion bah tu papa. Just like your passion on your ‘mistresses’ mcmana susahpon atau teknikal kah, bisa-bisa aja..
On the other hand, what if you got the skill and knowledge in photography but you don’t have any gears? lagi susah kan, terpaksa gambar pakai mata sendiri seja ^.^

I use DSLR when it comes to work jak…. Teda hasil bah just shoot for fun. I often use more Digital Compact than my dslr….. hehehe
High end digital compact can produce better quality than dslr especially panasonic lumix and the latest sony cyber-shot.

waa’aah!! The 1st photo of Josh washing the car is quiet close to look like an HDR. It was not easy to get an HDR effect on a photo taken with NON-slr camera, but you PapaJ seems have the guts.. bulih tahan! great effort, nice attempt.. clap! clap! clap! clap!
p/s : kalah la sia anti kalau dia suda butul2 pandai nih..

wahhhh…testing skill ah papaJ.
i have some pictures that i think would look good in HDR form. tapi sia malas mo buat bah…sedangkan baru mau edit saturation and noise pun sia malas…pa lagi mo explore tu HDR.
i like the 1st HDR
but the second…i prefer the original photo.

Using only Photoshop? AWESOME Big J!
I really mean it… and I agree with eshark regarding the first pic, pretty close to a “real” HDR.
You should really do more of this… My suggestion is to use a picture with some sky and clouds in it. For some reason sky and clouds look awesome in HDR.
Check out the sky reflection on your car in the first picture. Pretty cool, right?
No imagine the outcome where the sky covers about a quarter of the picture!
Hope you’ll do more of this, Joneh. You obviously got talent!
