Off Day: Son Josh’s at Home!

Author February 12th, 2009 | Viewed 1,430 views

For the record, I’m at home on my rare off day. Since early morning already out to send Josh and the Twins to Clinic. To be honest, I am more busy during my off days than my working days. Haha. However, I still prefer it since no Boss to order me around. :)

But this post about my son Josh. He was quite surprised to see me so early at the school waiting for him. He told me got four home works to do and he need “susu kacang” (soya bean drink) the moment he entered the car. Ok I said.

Don’t forget the “flower drink” also, for adik – he said. I was happy to hear he said that. He did remember his younger brothers :D
Then it hit me, what flower drink?!!!??
Later I found out “flower drink” is actually the “Teh air bunga” or “Chrysanthemum Tea”. Hahaha.

Josh study hard picture

After changing his school uniform he goes straight to his work. He knows that only when he finished the school work did he can play the computer. He even make sure the TV remote control is beside him. LOL.

Well, that was the earlier plan.

Josh on the floor doing his work picture

He got tired after finishing the first one – the numbers, he skipped the Chinese letter school work. So I open the Bahasa book. Well, what do you know, he told me a story about one of the house layout.

Josh house story picture

Can you see it what he drew? Well, something like this, in his own words (sorry my kid’s language -all rojak like me :P )

Papa, here got ghost. Many many ghosts. Ghost go inside the room. He cannot wake up. He’s sleeping. [ I said ok]. Then he woke up, he go to here, washing his gaung (kadazan word for clothes). [I said using the washing machine?] Yes, ghost use the machine. [I said ok].
Then he goes here and cook papa. [cook what Josh, I said]. He cook “nasi” (malay word for rice). See here, (he pointed the cupboard) so many nasi. [I said ok].
Then he goes here (pointed the dining table) and eat and watch TV. [I said, waahhh eating while watching tv!?!] yes papa. And then.. nah kan.
Here friends coming already. (He meant friends are actually the soldiers, armies – influenced by counter strike). [I asked why friends over there]. Ya lah. Friends want to shoot ghost kan. See ghost run away already…. friends use machine gun. big one papa. tet tet tet tet…

From there I really laughed like crazy. Josh Josh. What an imagination. I hope you can get 100% for this story. I wonder the teacher can accept it or even understand that at all. Hahahahaha. I better stop now. He makes me crazy. He’s behind me now. I’m his horse right at this moment. Crazy boy! hahaha.

gagaukon – too much tv and computer?? For who? For me Yes.. I love them. For Josh, well, not much, enoughlah :D NO pressure for him. I’m not strict with him. As long as he does his school work on time, he’s king for the day :)
The astro remote i control, he just wanted to see it there. Thats part of the motivation. PapaJ style ;)
