Yep. What You’ve seen above is correct. The title for this post is Aramaiti. But what is aramaiti??
From what I gathered, I put it in my simple English term, Gathering for drinking session! Hahaha. Well, it is not exactly that but to be honest, when people of Sabah, or at least in Penampang Sabah said that word, it only means one thing, “Let’s go drinking … and get drunk together!!!” Hahaha.
You want “Aramaiti” the Kadazan Dusun style, drink the rice wine and you be glad, you do not need any fancy custom shot glasses or anything of that sort. You just use bamboo to drink the rice wine. It’s big, tall and did I just said bigger diameter? Yep. It’s not only quite intimidating just by looking at the size of the “bamboo mug”, but it is also quite scary when the host ask you to finish the drink in one gulp and no excuse accepted other than to bottoms up it! Hahaha.

Man, I miss it already… long time didn’t go out for a drink … for a Aramaiti session. Sigh.

kids really crazy when @home alone with only wife taking care them … so i have to be @home too. its ok lah … seeing (from pictures) u all happy2 there.. makes me happy2 too
