Looks like a camera that takes good photos, but I heard that Canon cameras usually distort the colors. Have you noticed anything like that with yours?

Eliz – The Nikon has its own built-in Image editing “Distortion control” .. and for a beginner like me.. i have NOT noticed any distortion. I cannot comment about the Canon

sid – good enough.. so many functions and till now I have not fully utilized all. the built-in on demand help is quite helpful too. when you budget allowed, try it you will like it.

the D5100 is well worth it every picture is rich in texture . Its a great camera for bloggers who rely on rich photos like me. Plus its great for beginners
