Exercise or diet?

Wife has been complaining that I need to start exercise. Not to lose weight but more to stay healthy. I know, I am not that young anymore and my kids are growing. Wife wants me to be healthy and strong so that I can keep up with the kids.

Just the other day, I brought my kids to the playground and I noticed, I can’t hardly keep up with them. I get tired so fast that less than an hour, I forced my kids to stop hahahahahaha, but surprisingly when I’m playing with my RC car, I don’t feel tired at all!!! hahahahahaha. At home doing many things which I normally don’t do.

Suddenly all my joints hurt here and there. Not so much because I do so many things at home, but that certain task I did, somehow involved all my joints. It is obvious, I seldom do any exercise to my muscle. Quite scary, when I went internet surfing just now for a little information on joints. One that caught my eyes was the finger joints. Exercise or not?

Well, I always reminding myself to exercise whenever I feel so weak, Like now. Been stuck in the office for the whole day, and in fact, for the whole last weekend in the office. What a boring life.

The mind quite strong but the body how come feel so weak?? Especially after recent death of The King of Pop, late Michael Jackson. He’s my idol during the breakdance era back in the 80′s. He’s still the best in everything he did and no one can replace that. He is the legend and he will always be someone who had influenced me so much. No words to describe it for I am bad with English words anyway. All the days I been silence here in this blog is because to honor him, My Kind of Legend. Sad. So sad he’s gone now :(

Thinking back about him, even though you see him like so thin compares to other singer, well, he is actually not that thinner than you. He is fitter and in fact can dance like there’s no tomorrow. There are so many type of exercise either to just keeping fit, to lose weight, to look good in the body structure or probably just want get rid that flabby fat, most of them, one way or the other involve moving. Yea, move your butt out of the chair. Either you wanna walk or jog, you better get moving. Whatever you do, make sure the heart is pumping harder. get it to move. The more you move, the more it pumps blood. Blood moving, meaning you are alive and indirectly, you live longer.

In short, throw away all those fat burners if you just want to sit down and not moving any muscle and that being fat and slow is beautiful to you. MJ is much much better than you then. He may be white or may be black, but he can dance and he moves people all around the world – even prisoners in Filipinos love to dance his moves and music. Now, that’s what I call exercise. So start moon walking if Billy Jeans too hard for you :P

Exercise after Holiday?

I took so many pictures during my 3 days holidays in Keningau but one item that I forgot to take is this same exercise elliptical bicycle kind of gadget that happened to be the main attraction to all of us there. Aiyaaaa. Maximum Regrets!

I mean, my nephews, in-laws, nieces, my son Josh, wife and even my Twins got their small hands on this exercise gadget. If I’m allowed to say here, no wonder my bro-in-law’s, his wife, his children, all fit(2) and able to maintain their body sizes. Slim and not out of shape … hmm, unlike all of us here in KK. Hahahaha.

Back in Keningau during the holidays, we eat a lot. I mean, morning, before lunch hour, lunch, tea break, before dinner, dinner, supper. For some who slept late, even a bit snack before sleeping. Crazy. We eat eat eat. Not to mention the compulsory liquor drinking. Aramaiti!!! Thanks to my brother-in-law Otoi and wife. They have been our great host for 3 days. We definitely wanna come back again for more. :D

Anyway, I should buy one of this cycling thing. Especially for a person like me who reach home the latest 8pm and of course with a few ‘aramaiti sessions’. Need to keep fit again. I need to jog, cycling indoor while watching my kids Tom & Jerry Show. Now, that’s spending valuable time with the family. I need this! HAHAHAHA!
