Lee Chong Wei finally beat China’s Lin Dan at the Swiss Open and on straight set some more. Cool. I know. This is a very late story. Should had come out last night at 10:30pm. Haha. Yeah, that’s the time I finished taking all these pictures. Better late than never kan
[After all, another good news for me, a big fan of Malaysian Badminton Team] … don’t tell me you Malaysian people fan of other country!

I watched the match live at home and I at first could not believe Chong Wei can beat Lin Dan this time at Swiss Open, thanks to his old record with this China’s guy. However, mid way and seeing Chong Wei played, I knew it if he continued playing long rally and slowing down Lin Dan, he could win this tournament.

Sure enough, Chong Wei played Lin Dan till he made lotsa mistakes. Datuk Lee Chong Wei, You the Man!

I found this “shuttlecock” funny … hahahahahahahaha!

Yes, Lin Dan from China won with the score of 21 – 12 and 21 – 8 in the Men’s Singles Badminton Final. Nothing more to say, Lin Dan is just too fast and too powerful. He can read every move Lee Chong Wei made. It is just not the Malaysian day.

To Lin Dan, congrats. To Lee Chong Wei and Malaysia, silver is good enough. Sad day to the whole Malaysian people but it is fated Lin Dan is still the man to beat. He is after all the World Number One and he is the Olympic Champion. Salute to Lin Dan.

I’m speechless. What more to say? Badminton is not the main topic after this. Might as well talk about the strollers, right? As in my dialect said, “Kivaa poh guno montok dogo!”

Do you play golf?

Friend, [tag]do you play golf?[/tag] If you do play golf, do you ever thought how much you are going to spend buying all those necessary clubs, irons, shirt and not forgetting the suitable shoe for golf. Not to mention that you do need to join at least one golf club to enable you to use their greens. Now, that will cost you a lot. Well at least, that was what my brothers told me. I may get the details wrong here but I think I have covered something there about golf.
Obviously, I do not play golf or watch any news about golfing but I do know what is Ping Golf and [tag]Tiger Wood[/tag]. Just for additional info, all three my brothers play golf and they are all into it for serious. They even bought me one set of clubs, yes coincidently the [tag]Ping golf set[/tag] too, so I can join them in the driving range. However, I said “No, thank you. I am only into radio control nitroâ€.
Interestingly, they also become coaches to some ‘taukes’ aka Chinese business proprietors who requested their service in the driving range. They teach them on how to swing the club or irons properly, how to stand with the right leg distance and face direction etc. This is the one thing I like about golf, which it brings you influential contacts and friends. Try getting this kind of VIP by playing, let say, badminton. I do not think so you can get such ‘respect’ from it. I am not against anyone out there playing badminton, ok. I, myself play badminton too. For the sake of this post, I have four brands of badminton racket in my possession and guess what, I do watch badminton and I do know who are Misbun Sidek and the family and even Prakash Padukon. Now you know.
