This picture was right in the middle of the day. It was hot and I was no hat or shade to cover from it. I took it using My Proud Possession Nikon D5100 in Aperture Priority f/11, ISO 110, 1/125seconds. NO edit, just cropped and signed with love .

I love taking pictures. One of the many thing I love to take shots at are the Cloud. Any cloud formation or type, I love all of them. Here is a couple of them to be share here

I love taking pictures. Ever since I got my first D-SLR, the Nikon D5100, I never stop taking pictures. I probably took more pictures in this 2 months compares to others in one year. I kid you know.

For today, this moment of time, Bird pictures uploading for your eyes only. Hehe.

I have nothing to do so might as well share my photography collection of a few hundreds flower shots here. Just two will do for now

One of my favorite flower, the Pink Flower! Planted by ourselves at home.

The above is another of my favorite, The White Flower! Both of them from the same specie just with different color. the white is a bit rare compares to the pink. Well, at least to my simple knowledge. Haha. Do not ask me about the name.. I totally no idea… FOR NOW

Just one of those boring day in the office. What else to do, other than working, is making full use to learn more the Nikon D5100 functions, Scenes, Filters etc. There is always something new to learn from this camera, you know

Picture above edited with the built-in filter effects:- Blue and Green Intensifiers. Isn’t it cool? For the first time, I did not need to open my photoshop program to edit. I love my Nikon D5100!!!

I have taken a few shots, well few hundreds actually but none as good as I wanted them to be. Especially when comes to flower shot. Nevertheless, I am still proud of the Nikon D5100. It is just a matter of time, well, lots of time, learning all the functions, effects, etc etc setup.

I do not have the proper lens, I know I need one to show how beautiful the flower is, but I guess I just need to be satisfied with what I have now, the 18-55mm kit lens.

Red Purple Flower picture

This shot was taken early in the morning. With no tripod, I set to Aperture Mode, ISO 200, f/6.3, I just hover the Nikon camera over this flower and tried very hard not to move and took this shot. I was really HAPPY when I saw it in my laptop. The blurred background and final result, just great. I wonder if I use tripod and with specialized lens, it will definitely be even better than this!!!

Hope I did not embarrassed the Nikon users communities. I will do better next time. More info, more knowledge, more shots – DEFINITELY!

Yes this is what I am talking about here at Photography posting, My Proud Possession … for now

What the heck is Photography? The big words I have taken from Wiki is this, “The word photography is based on the Greek ??? (photos) “light” and ????? (graphé) “representation by means of lines” or “drawing”, together meaning “drawing with light”".

For me simply, take a decent camera, make sure it has the battery charged, look into the viewfinder, choose your view, when you like it, click the shutter button. Done. You can review it afterward. If you do not like it. You can either take the same view shot but from different angle or different setup. Done.

That is more to it actually but I am not sitting for an examination so, there you go, the simple term for me. Oh ya, I am into this deep already. I mean in term of money spent on the hardware, camera and lenses. I even have the expensive tripod just for the heck of it.

Am I good in this photography thing? No. Am I excited, oh yes, damn I am excited knowing the future how many shots I am going to take. I love taking pictures of mostly everything. For me, better and best memory need to be in pictures and that for me is what photography is all about. Talking about it just will not cut it. You need picture to tell the whole story.

So, to get the picture of what I am talking about, wait till the next two or three posting after this. I am tired now. I am after all working alone in the office, so, yeah.. need a break for now
