I have been telling myself that I really need to get the extra hard drives soon or else my laptop going to crash soon. But telling myself is one thing, doing it another. Even on my off days I can’t seem to find the time to do it. My schedules are pack and full. Even wife complaints I do not have time to do the things she asked me to help. Funny eh? Hmm not funny at all actually. I guess I need to reorganize back my schedule and hopefully I will have time for everybody and everything
Study or Play?
Computer, Son Josh October 20th, 2011 | Viewed 168 views
Sometimes I wonder about this, should I let my children use the computer or not. For a geekie person like me (aha!), I believe I should but on the other side of my brain, the father side, you should be careful when giving such permission to younger kids.
Do they use the computer for study or for play?
If you look at the picture, my son seems to be thinking, trying to solve the game. Haha. Now what the heck is the playbook tablet again? Do we need it? It looks interesting. I do not mind using it myself. I bet my kids too. Haha.
Time to decide … panic!
Computer October 12th, 2009 | Viewed 597 views
Time to decide … what? Hahaha. Well between the small easy to carry but slow netbook or the more powerful, my kind of thing but expensive and big, hard to carry notebook. So which one??
Sigh. It is not like life or death here but it seems to be near to that situation. My current Acer Aspire is frequently shutting it off without any notice to me. Even typing this short rambling of mine now is vulnerable. Got to click that “save Draft” often. Hahaha.
So let say if I want to get the netbook, simply because i like it because it is a small one and on XP easily with 2GB RAM, among all those netbooks, which one you think worth to take??
What about if I decide go for the power and the big screen, which of the many notebooks aka laptop that you recommend?? Come on, just give me opinion. Thanks
Netbook or just normal size laptop?
Computer October 9th, 2009 | Viewed 621 views
Can anyone suggest me which one is good for a person like me, either the netbook or the normal size notebook aka laptop?
Like many notebook out there, when it is old and slow, it is time to change. Well, mine is old for sure but not slow. The only problem it has now, it just shutdown and restarted by itself. Damn man. Right at the middle of everything. Like typing this post. It can just poop, blank and restart. Sometimes it not even reach the windows logo. It just blank again and keep doing the restart routine again and again. Do not you just hate it???
So which one suitable for me. I need to access websites a lot coz I am a website designer without degree, a FB gamer, a Photoshopper editor and sometimes doing product review on site. My Radio Control race review I mean

I’m writing this in one of the cyber cafe in Damai. I somehow escape from office, use my lunch hour period to check my 108 Gmails and will post this on scheduled time. By the time you read this, I probably be in the Karamunsing Computer heaven there to check for my new laptop power supply and maybe a new wireless router for my home. Damn it
I am very sorry to all I cannot reply all your comments and do blog hopping. I am sorry to all my sponsors for the overdue tasks, assignments and reviews. Everything is in the laptop. Its my life there and somehow its dead now. I hope I can go online on my own will and time. Home Internet also down.
So sorry and thanks to all who still keep coming back here. Even though no comment, i saw you coming too. Thanks.
Ok, time to pay at the counter. See you all when I see you all.
Dos Command Line???
Computer April 25th, 2008 | Viewed 968 views
Do you know what is dos command line? To most computer users out there, they should know one. However, not all people like to use it especially with the all graphical user interface we have now. Yes, I am talking about the Microsoft DOS or MS-DOS. First introduced in the 1981 for the IBM computers. Last used intensively at around 1994 with the MS-DOS 6.22. Those were the days, finger torture days
Nowadays, MS Dos command line is seldom use but the Microsoft Dos command in the shell is still been use. It can be accessed in Window XP by clicking your Start button, Run… and type cmd in the Open box.
Here I show mine ![]()

Here with the “mem” for memory info request command in short. Click to see bigger shot.

Ignore the wallpaper at the background. I am a big fan of Blizzard Starcraft.
Can’t wait for the Starcraft 2 Release ‘expected’ this July 2008. Maybe longer. They said expected due date “when done!”. Hahahaha.
Anyway, for the above command “mem”, you can try also “mem /c” or to get the help of the command, type “mem /?”. Some people do not understand all the numbers but some do. To the expert reading this rambling from me, this is not a tutorial. So expect stupe information. LOL. Want to know more, just type the same text in the google search box. Done.
Why I cannot go Online night time … !?!
Computer, Laptop, Son Josh March 12th, 2008 | Viewed 2,412 views
Want to know why I cannot go online, surfing the Internet and blogging at night time? Well other than I am really no time even to open my laptop due to domestic responsibility like taking care the twins as replacement to my wife. My son Josh decided to hijack my laptop and start playing his online game from the disney channel and some Nick Jnr sites.

See, he really can use my laptop and even the touchpad mouse. All just by watching me doing it. Read the rest of this entry »
