Happy Father’s Day!
Fathers Day, family June 15th, 2008 | Viewed 569 views
To all fathers out there, Happy Father’s Day to you. May all wishes come true. May all the children happy and healthy as you want them to be. One whole happy family, Amen.
I would like to dedicate this post to my own father who is always smiling and positive thinking. Even at his age at 73 and with constant visit to the Queen Hospital, he is still as healthy as he believes he is. Of course this is not 100% true when you look at his medical records and like hundreds of pills in his bag that he has to take to stay alive. In fact, he has been to the hospital so many times, with so many near-to-death situation and yet still survive to tell us more jokes during the family gathering. I sometimes wonder, is it his positive thinking that made him got through all these obstacles or just he is one plain lucky father.
I could not have ask for better father than he is to us all now. With six children to feed and finance to all our higher education, I just could not believe how he managed it by just being the rubber tapper, the Sabah state Sembulan Mosque builder at one time, the tiring Lian Tung Bus driver, the goverment JKR, CPS driver and finally as one of the Berjaya / PBS ministers’ driver, roaming here and there till late night and not to mention few more odd jobs in between till he retired and currently back in the Kampung Limadang Membakut Beaufort. Despite all those difficulties, we all brothers and sisters never once not enough food on the table during the dinner and lunch time. We all brothers and sisters finished our schools and some of us even went to higher learning and graduates to each our professions. How all this happened when we are really coming from poor family and still is, living moderately.
I am so so proud of my father and of course to my mother too. To be honest, I am so jealous of others who has family that safely can be said as ‘rich people’ and have something to help their children financially and some even have lands or business to inherit to. Even belanja kahwin pun kena sponsor by the parents. Not with us. Not with me. Everything is on our own. My father really has NOTHING as in zero of everything, except of his never dying attitude and always smiling and positive attitude towards everything. Now I realize why mother love my father so much.
To you Bapa, I love you very very much. I wish you long life, healthy and smiling always. I wish you still alive to see my son Josh Luke finish his SPM. Yep, that is another 13 years to go and I believe it is possible. I wish you always there for us, Bapa. AMEN.
LONG LIVE BAPA! I LOVE YOU!!!

Babies, Fathers Day, Preston and Presley, Son Josh, Twins August 12th, 2007 | Viewed 17,342 views
Hello everyone? Thanks for all the wishes for my [tag]newborn babies[/tag]. This is going to be a short post. I am actually escaping from the Papa duty for just half an hour to post this great news. I will be writing in list style so to make the reading quickly to the point. I will write elaborate post when I have the “escape” again. For now here there are in simple English:

- Water bag broke at 4:30am, 10th August 2007. Friday.
- Send my elder son, Josh, to auntie at 4:40am. He was still sleeping.
- Reach KK Specialist Centre Clinic just before 5am. The thing opened 6cm.
- They decided to send to Hospital at Likas due to 33 weeks only. 7 weeks early.
- At 5:55am, the thing opened 8cm. Doctor Felice said, “No need! We try deliver here!”. Ambulance arrival too late.
- At 6:47am, Twin 1 baby out. Head 1st. Normal delivery.
- At 7:14am, Twin 2 out. Breach – leg first. Normal delivery. Clinic Record without surgery at 33 weeks.
- All in videos recording
- Both babies weight: same 2.3Kg.
- Twin 1: length=42cm, head=33cm; Twin 2: length=42.5, head=31.5cm
- Stayed overnight. Didn’t sleep the whole Saturday. Thought of Josh, weird feeling, stomach ache
- Back at home at 3pm. Realized everything not ready yet. Took Josh from auntie. Happy Papa. Missed Josh. Damn work at 6pm till 8pm.
- Babies decided to test us. They one by one milk, pee-pee, poo-poo, milk again. repeat this routine till 6am Sunday. Stole nap time from babies break. Woke at 730am. Both babies cries.
- Now babies nap again. Wife relax a bit. Papa typing all this.

There a little bit of everything. Thank GOD even at 33 weeks only, normal delivery smooth, babies normal, wife smiling. I have now one 3 years old, Josh Luke, two identical twins(Doctor said so) boys with confirmed names, [tag]Preston and Presley Joneh[/tag]. [P'Jay]
*** Sorry. Preston is the Twin 1, on the left, Presley on the right.
Ok, got to stop. Josh calls, babies need attention and wife need to go to toilet. See you on next post with lots of pictures and thanks for listening.
*** Azmeen, thanks for the dedicated post.
Busy Being a Husband!
Fathers Day, Off Day, Son Josh, family June 18th, 2007 | Viewed 558 views
Another busy day on my [tag]off day[/tag]. This time I was really [tag]busy being a husband[/tag]. Starting from early in the 8am in morning right till the end of the day at 8pm, just now. But honestly, I never felt like this before. I really can feel what’s being a husband is all about. Like shopping! Hahaha.
Firstly, last night I slept with my boy because guess what (esp to my blog mom friend, huisia), he greeted me “[tag]Happy Papa’s Day[/tag]” by insisted to kiss me right on the nose. Hahaha. I wish MommyJosh took the picture. But she didn’t
Anyway, mission accomplished to get my son’s greeting. So he deserved his Papa to sleep beside him. Hahaha. MommyJosh said we both slept ‘soundly’.

Father’s Day in Hawaii!
Fathers Day June 17th, 2007 | Viewed 730 views
It’s [tag]Father’s Day[/tag] today, 17th June 2007. It is on Sunday and what a perfect day to go out and have fun with the family you love so much. I am already excited with all the short messages I received in my Motorola V3i Inbox and still replying them while I am thinking on where to bring my lovely wife and my son Josh. Guess what? My first thought is none other than Hawaii. Yes, to be specific [tag]Maui Vacations[/tag].
Hahaha
. I cannot wait to see my wife’s face when I tell her this. It is going to be the greatest gift for her, for my son Josh and of course for us all. I never give her anything even on the last Mother’s Day but I guess by giving her this surprise vacation rental, especially the Kuau Pool House will do the trick.
The location of the Kuau Pool Hale is so perfect. It sits directly on the beach with the beautiful ocean in front and the Maui Mountain viewable. I can already see myself lying helplessly on the balcony’s chair, feeling the fresh air going through my body, my wife displaying her new two-piece bikini and my son running around with his new swimming trunk. How wonderful life could be. If that is not enough, we can always do the short walk to the spectacular beach cove and enjoy the crystal blue scenery of which the protected reef will be visible by the naked eyes. Just great!
Did I mentioned the 4 bedrooms, full kitchen utilities house has the high speed internet access too
How cool is that. Being a blogaholic person I may say to myself, my wife will kill me if I ever try to use it on this vacation. Maybe during her sleep then
Hahaha. I am sure everything will be forgiven and probably I might be lucky to get a nice kiss right smack on the lips
I guess my son will give me the “high-ten” he usually give us when he is happy.
I just remember, wife has this phobia to living too close to the sea. She somehow can imagine the dark ugly creature with the spears coming out of the sea and just walk through the house looking for food. Yes, she did tell me more than once. No problem dear. I just got the right place for you
The Maui Palm Garden Cottage. The house is just perfect for her. It is not on the beach and in fact it can offer a peaceful, back at home village style setting. With no disturbance from other tourist, it will be totally a quiet tranquil retreat for us all. Even though it is at the most affordable price you can get, it still offers full kitchen utilities. With variety mature palms and citrus trees, flat grassy ground outlining the property, I can just let loose my hyper active son without worrying if he fall somewhere. We can even play our favorite radio control off-road buggy without neighbor complaining about the sound. So cool.
The conversation probably will go like this:
me: So my dear lovely wife, would you like to go to Hawaii Maui Vacations with me?
wife: What “Mawi”?
me again: Dear, it is not “Mawi”, our local singer, it’s Maui in Hawaii.
wife answer back: Ohhh silly me [slap her forehead]. But my darling dear, even though today is the Father’s Day and it is on Sunday, YOU ARE WORKING FROM 9 O’CLOCK IN THE MORNING TO 8 PM IN THE NIGHT, DEAR!!!! [With a slight increase in the volume]
me: Oh my, I forgot. I am working today on Sunday. Sorry dear. [This time already blushing] At least I have the thought, dear. [Silently, I hang up the phone feeling stupid].
Oh well, life can be brutal sometimes but when it is not, I definitely want to experience the unique vacation such as this. There is no other place in the world I rather spend my valuable holiday time other than with my loving family and a great island escapade. Dreams can come true. One day, dear. One day, I promise.
