Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.4 Upgrade

FireFox Addon Extension – NoScript!
Firefox April 27th, 2007 | Viewed 1,561 views

I have many Addons Extension but one of the best Addon Extension I want to share tonight is this Noscript Extension. NoScript is a [tag]Free Software[/tag] (GPL).

The [tag]NoScript Firefox Extension[/tag] provides extra protection for Firefox, Flock, Seamonkey and others mozilla-based browsers: this free, [tag]open source add-on[/tag] allows [tag]JavaScript and Java execution[/tag] only for trusted domains of your choice (e.g. your home-banking web site).
NoScript’s unique whitelist based pre-emptive script blocking approach prevents exploitation of security vulnerabilities (known and even not known yet!) with no loss of functionality…
You can enable JavaScript/Java execution for sites you trust with a simple left-click on the NoScript status bar icon (look at the picture), or using the contextual menu, for easier operation in popup statusbar-less windows.

Now, here the script in action when i do my usual blog hopping. It popup at the bottom right of your browser. Just above the status bar. Can you guess whose blog is this? Not mine of course. I do not have that many “extras” in my blog. ![]()

While its primary aim is preventing malicious JavaScript from running, NoScript can effectively block Javaâ„¢, Flash® and other plugins on untrusted sites. Applets, Flash movies/application, Quicktime clips and other content won’t be even downloaded from sites where you consider them annoyances, saving your bandwidth and increasing your navigation speed. Only JavaScript and Java are blocked by default.
So you see, I’m always on the safer side when browsing any site or blog out there. It is my choice whether to enable it or just block it. It is actually quickened my surfing time without worrying any bad script out there getting my info. Very cool indeed. So, Now you know.
You probably can guess the blog up there just by the names of javascript installed in your blog. But the easier way is just install this on your current Firefox.
If you are not yet using Mozilla Firefox,
NOW!!!
Quick 8: WordPress Theme is still under construction!
CSS, Firefox, Hobby, wordpress April 19th, 2007 | Viewed 800 views
Nothing new here guys. Just want to tell you all I know you all coming and I know this [tag]wordpress theme is suck[/tag] big time. The comment went to different post, the post title gone missing. The [tag]typography[/tag] is not nice and the color, well dull. The best thing for me, at least for me … I decode the [tag]CSS[/tag] so it [tag]works in the MSIE6[/tag]. Damn you MSIE6. Ooopps. Sorry [tag]Microsoft loyalist[/tag]. But see what you have done to me. I have to spend my entire day and night just to decode this theme just to make you all happy. So you wont need this video to remind you microsoft loyalist. Yea, I know, I can just use “the other theme” but where is the fun of it. Honestly, I [tag]hate fixed width[/tag]. Fixed means follow the rule. AND FOLLOWING RULE IS NOT IN [tag]PAPAJONEH DICTIONARY[/tag].
Phewww.
This is supposed to be a short, quick one but heck 2nd paragraph, why not. During the course of time, you will notice the many many themes that I’m going test. As long as I’m online, this job need attention. But I’m not going online and spending my time sitting in front of this laptop just to make micrsoft happy. If they pay, different story. Being online most of the time, is the job of Problogger. And I am definitely not. Why, just ask Azmeen. Why you should not be a problogger and stuck in front of the monitor.
So, I’m out to [tag]enjoy my RC Nitro Truggy[/tag] for I am on holiday again today. “Syiok kan”.

OK, Papa surrender at 9:45pm. Papa got hungry and a family to take care. [tag]Mozilla Firefox[/tag] wins. Papa do not know how to decode the [tag]CSS[/tag] for [tag]MSIE 6[/tag]. So, for any IE users, here is a video for you.
[youtube mYR31fDakYw]
So conclusion: What?
*** If there’s any chance someone out there know how to hack the IE6 to display my theme correctly, well give me buzz. Thanks. Display it 3 columns. 2 sidebars on the right but the top one is a single column. The correct display is like in Firefox. Thanks.
Firefox Browser 2.0.0.3 Updates!
Firefox, technology March 21st, 2007 | Viewed 1,022 views
[tag]Firefox browser[/tag] just beep me, “Hey, you need new updates! The [tag]version 2.0.0.3[/tag] is available, you want to download or not?!?”
I have to obliged because it keep appearing in front of me while updating JonehRC.com Monster Truck Jam World Finals!. It downloaded silently behind while I finish my other post.
10 minutes afterwards, when done it asked to be restarted and installed by its own. All right. So whats new? Firefox claimed they already fixed the FTP PASV port-scanning.
The FTP protocol includes the PASV (passive) command which is used by Firefox to request an alternate data port. The specification of the FTP protocol allows the server response to include an alternate server address as well, although this is rarely used in practice.
mark@bindshell.net reported that a malicious web page hosted on a specially-coded FTP server could use this feature to perform a rudimentary port-scan of machines inside the firewall of the victim. By itself this causes no harm, but information about an internal network may be useful to an attacker should there be other vulnerabilities present on the network.
Mozilla clients will now ignore the alternate server address.
For a Little Knowledge Papa, I only understand this. No more holes for hacker to penetrate the network. Short and brief. It means one good thing for Firefox users compares to the other browser. Yea, that one lah, that comes free with your PC.
So far, I can’t feel anything. But I hope they fixed my always shutdown thing when browsing multiple tabs. My laptop is AMD Turion 64 MK36, 2.0Ghz, 512KB L2 cache, 1GB DD2 RAM and 80GB HDD. I don’t think there is a memory problem. The only program running in background, is the AVG and the Ad Aware. When i do the Ctrl-Alt-Del to call the Windows Task Manager, I saw lots of SVCHOST.EXE. I know little knowledge of this. When the laptop freeze, I only managed to see in seconds, it reported that the laptop need to shutdown to protect it from damage due to the kernel thing then shuts my laptop.
Whats that?
I did see in the list of fixed in FireFox 2.0.0.2, Crashes with evidence of memory corruption (rv:1.8.0.10/1.8.1.2).
As part of the Firefox 2.0.0.2 and 1.5.0.10 update releases we fixed several bugs to improve the stability of the product. Some of these were crashes that showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort at least some of these could be exploited to run arbitrary code.
So whats say you? Have you upgraded? Do you have like my sudden shutdown problem? Advice this poor Papa, please.
