The above is another of my favorite, The White Flower! Both of them from the same specie just with different color. the white is a bit rare compares to the pink. Well, at least to my simple knowledge. Haha. Do not ask me about the name.. I totally no idea… FOR NOW

I have taken a few shots, well few hundreds actually but none as good as I wanted them to be. Especially when comes to flower shot. Nevertheless, I am still proud of the Nikon D5100. It is just a matter of time, well, lots of time, learning all the functions, effects, etc etc setup.

I do not have the proper lens, I know I need one to show how beautiful the flower is, but I guess I just need to be satisfied with what I have now, the 18-55mm kit lens.

This shot was taken early in the morning. With no tripod, I set to Aperture Mode, ISO 200, f/6.3, I just hover the Nikon camera over this flower and tried very hard not to move and took this shot. I was really HAPPY when I saw it in my laptop. The blurred background and final result, just great. I wonder if I use tripod and with specialized lens, it will definitely be even better than this!!!

This is Radio Control Rock Crawler (the green color) and the faster Radio Control Nitro Powered Monster Racing Truck.

Yeah, Mission accomplished! I did it. It’s about my Brunei trip of course

It was almost a 9 hours onroad trip to Brunei (and back to KK too – gosh!) and I am still can feel the feeling inside the van. Anyway, it was my first time so was very excited to be there. Since this trip is specifically for rock crawling competition, I did not really pay attention to the whole scenery there. It was raining anyway. But I tell you this, not so many of those metal buildings around here but good enough for luxury living. I never expected it anyway, so yeah, good enough.

Do not let the view fools you, most people living here are very rich people. At least double whatever you are earning back in Malaysia. Friendly people, especially the host and organizer of our competition. We stayed at Jubilee Hotel by the way, in the executive suite!!! Best!!

Anyway, about my radio controlled rock crawling hobby, well I achieved my target, to be at least top three in the final result. So I got Second Place in the 1.9 Scale class category and believe it or not, I am still not, I was awarded the runner-up too in the “beautiful truck” competition. Not bad at all, you know!!!

Did I mentioned here that I’ll be going to Brunei this weekend for my RC crawling competition? I didn’t??? I must be very busy with my crawler that it slipped my mind to announce it here, hahahaaha.

By this time, I will be in Brunei or maybe on the way to Brunei and guys, please wish me luck. I hope to bring back something as my son Josh says ” Papa bring back the big trophy ok” I guess he meant the 1st prize right? Hearing him says that makes me more excited and look forward to this competition.

Ok I’m ready to crawl and hopefully everything goes well. Now, where’s my julbo sunglasses I need it to shed my eyes from the sun

I seldom talk about my passion with RC in this blog because it simply not the right place to talk about it. I should talk about it at Borneo RC Crawlers website. On the other hand, this is my paid website, so why not! Haha.

Oh yes, I so in love with reading. I have many interest and obviously more into mechanical or invention type of story. Sorry, none of the romantic stuffs. I am not a romantic person if you still do not realize that. Ask wife Haha.

Most of my books are regarding the spies, military stuffs, conspiracies and probably around 20% of the total are about self improvement or motivational ones. Magazines, well 99% about radio control stuffs. I love every radio or remote control cars, truck, airplane, helicopter, you name it, I love them all. If you want to give me a simple present for my birthday, just get me the current magazine. Easy. BUT, I bet, i have that one too … so check with me first before buying, or else I will have two copies. Haha.

Just for info, wife also has this “craving” for reading books unlike me, she is more on the romantic side of course. Unfortunately, with all those years collecting, buying magazines and books, the house is more like a store or in a nicer word, like a library with all sort of books, magazines and even old newspapers!!

I am a true and true crazy aka Hardcore Radio Control Offroad Onroad Racer and I never thought of having another hobby to give the same adrenalin rush like what RC has given me.

Well, I thought about playing golf though All my brothers and even brother-in-laws play golf BUT NOT ME! I just could not see myself hitting balls in the open field. It is not as active as racing my 1:10 rc cars or my offroad buggy. The excitement is just not there!

My brothers said if you want to learn how to play golf, you have to go to the driving range and just hit those used golf balls at least hundred times. Get all the related information either from the internet or from the thousand magazines out there. Library is one good place to start.
