This is of course my most favorite topic of all, the [tag]Remote or Radio control vehicle[/tag]. I can talk about it non-stop any day any time of the year. It is in my blood already. It is more than a hobby. It is my passion. In other word, I am crazy about it and it is my second wife. So, do not mess with me about my radio control vehicle ok
Anyway, what is radio control vehicle actually? In simple term, it is just a vehicle with a receiver maneuvered wirelessly by a radio transmitter. The radio you have at home, well that is just a receiver. The transmission can be in digital or analog. You want better control get the digital one. The one you get from the supermarket, that is analog transmission and mostly in 27MHz channel. In real RC racing where more than ten (10) people competing each other, you really have to get different frequency available. You either use the 27, 40 or the 75Mhz used mostly in USA. Mine in 40Mhz – 40.775 and 40.225Mhz.

My digital, 10 memories with pulse braking, the KO Propo radio. This cost me RM1,800
So far, I have done racing the [tag]Electric powered car[/tag], or EP. I have done the [tag]Gas Nitro Powered car[/tag], the [tag]GP Onroad[/tag]. However, the one I love so much is the [tag]RC Nitro Offroad vehicle[/tag]. They are 4WD and with tough differentials on each axle and in the middle of the chassis. In my collection, I have RC buggy, RC Truggy (a combo of truck and buggy) and RC Monster truck. Luckily if I have to say it here, I do not have any of the RC airplanes to show off. They are not only need bigger space to run, they are also so expensive comparing to their off-road cousin. They break easily too.

My 1:10 scale GP onroad, Serpent 710. Cost RM1,500 + modified Max tuned engine RM1,350

My Champion Monster truck – UMS Monster truck A main Champion. Cost RM2,250

My buggy and truggy when it’s not in the mud! Buggy RM1,800 | Truggy RM2,000 with STS .28 engine
So there, a really short story of my RC life. Hope you all can join me. You probably lucky to be in my team, with sponsors from Hongnor Taiwan.

Here I was during last year international race at [tag]HPC Glenmarie Selangor track[/tag]. There were two categories, the buggy and the truggy. I joined one class only, my favorite the truggy class. I qualified 3rd but DNF (did not finish) due to broken engine pipe manifold. End up no.7th on my first international race in truggy. Not bad.
