Home office?
Home improvements, Off Day, Office April 26th, 2011 | Viewed 282 views
Today is my off day from office work and I am so glad that I am at home now.
Thinking about it, I am wondering about my retirement. I mean, not retiring from making money, but more to retire from my office work which need me to be in that cold computer room. I hate that environment.
I am thinking of having my own “office at home”. It will be neat. I can attend my family need and request and at the same time can do my internet work with home comfort. So yes, lets think about the equipment needed to achieve this. I have my desktop computer already. I have one laptop and one netbook. What else? Table and chair easy. I have them ready years ago. Now all I need, I think is a printer.
Okay, among many of the hp printers out there, can any of you guys recommend me one that suitable for Home Office usage. I like HP. They never failed to perform as intended. Furthermore, HP represent “Home Product” and that is always good for me. Hehe.
Off Day: Son Josh’s at Home!
family, Off Day, Son Josh February 12th, 2009 | Viewed 790 views
For the record, I’m at home on my rare off day. Since early morning already out to send Josh and the Twins to Clinic. To be honest, I am more busy during my off days than my working days. Haha. However, I still prefer it since no Boss to order me around.
But this post about my son Josh. He was quite surprised to see me so early at the school waiting for him. He told me got four home works to do and he need “susu kacang” (soya bean drink) the moment he entered the car. Ok I said.
Don’t forget the “flower drink” also, for adik – he said. I was happy to hear he said that. He did remember his younger brothers ![]()
Then it hit me, what flower drink?!!!??
Later I found out “flower drink” is actually the “Teh air bunga” or “Chrysanthemum Tea”. Hahaha.

After changing his school uniform he goes straight to his work. He knows that only when he finished the school work did he can play the computer. He even make sure the TV remote control is beside him. LOL.
Well, that was the earlier plan. Read the rest of this entry »
Still Not Sleeping at 5:30am!
family, Off Day, Public Holiday, Thursday May 1st, 2008 | Viewed 1,174 views
Still awake and everything seems to be ok. So far, no house broken into case here. Yes, I know. I should relax myself. What can I say, I have this new thing on 1st May. You call it Phobia but I call it Family Protection. I actually applied annual leave just to be at home on this so called public holiday, the labour day! Cissss.
Just went down, checked every door and window. All secured. All lights on. Car still there and not opened. Double check by realarming it again. OK, I’m a bit happy now but still the sun is not out yet. I will only be happy when everything is ok by 6am. The sun should have come out by then.
For now, still here live. Thanks to Cindy for accompanying me a while ago in the messenger. Obviously, she was still up at 5am. Hahaha. She recommended me to get a dog to take care the house. Thanks there Cindy
I will consider that. I have a phobia taking care a dog too. We have bad experience with our own last time. Here his story once upon a time a dog name Truggy!
Oh yes, we talked about the Liverpool match against Chelsea too.. LIVE. Hahaha. The only think that we did not chat about is the shipping boxes. Why should we, right? “Tidak kena mengena pun!”. Hahahaha.
OK, enough, 5 more minutes to 6am. I am making my round again downstairs. So till next posting, I love you all. Please comment again, muuuuaaaaah.
*** my twin Preston awake! sempat lagi buat susu untuk dia ~ 4oz coming!
Off day: Stupid mistake!
Kota Kinabalu, Leisure, Off Day, Papar, Son Josh April 5th, 2008 | Viewed 1,177 views
Continued from previous Papar trip. In a hurry now, reached KK (Kota Kinabalu) and my home junction in less than an hour and only then I realized, the house gate remote control key left with my sister. Apalah!!! I could not go back just for this remote. Then I remember, aha – wife has the other copy. Sadly, I keep calling her but no answer. She must be really busy, in a meeting or something that after few of calls left unanswered.
Never mind I said to myself. I just jump the gate because I have the house key. Reached home, parked just beside my gate and bring Josh to the gate. After thorough investigation, I told myself, I can do this. After all, the gate is not that tall. After some acrobatic and some heart pumping action, I managed to be in my compound. Phheewww. Can you guess what happen then?
Yalor. How stupid of me. Now my son left behind the gate and he is like, “Papa, Papa, Papa, myJosh jump?”

So ‘Bodoh’ of me! He is supposed to be the first one inside the house compound not me. I was like “Bodoh kau Jon” saying to myself. Lucky I have not modified or made the proper gate yet. It’s still the original gate, the flimsy one. I am not tall so this maneuver of uplifting my son from the other side to my side really taxing me. I was like matilah if jatuh ngam2 in the middle, tercucuk perut si Josh this. you know. Somehow, I managed. Josh has no punctured tummy and no scratch. Cilaka i said to myself. Wife found out later… got scolded for my stupidity. “How in the world you left your son on the outside when you already inside. He is the one inside first”. I agree. I was stupid
Lucky i found the gate remote control key (and not the HDMI switches) somewhere in the house. So my car is safe inside afterward.
Ok that’s all about my Papar trip and my stupidity. To those wanna know about my other stupidity, please check it is not funny at all!
Off day: Papar Trip!
Leisure, Off Day, Papar, Son Josh April 5th, 2008 | Viewed 896 views
Yeah, lets go to Papar! I could not remember when is the last time I was in Papar. I used to stay in Riverfield Village for 6 months. Oh ya, Riverfield is actually Kg. Sungai Padang in Malay
. My sister’s place actually.
Anyway, after sending wife to work, I surprised Josh saying,
“Josh, follow Papa to Koh Koh Effie’s house ok. We go change car. Papa’s blue car.”
“Really Papa. O’rite.”
“Papa, go take Papa own car?”
“Yes, Josh. Follow Papa ok?”
“Oke.”
He was so happy that I did not let him stay with my auntie with the twins. He hates us for working and leaving them behind there. So sad. Sometimes have to force him to be behind the door and close it immediately. So sad but have to.
Anyway, off we go. Well only after the car washed and his breakfast of sausage bun at Kepayan. Now wait, actually thinking back, I actually went back home and take my camera. A blogger cannot go anywhere without the camera bah. Hahaha.
Papar is actually not far. Only 35KM from my home. My normal drive to Papar only take me around half an hour but since I was with my son Josh, I decided to really enjoy the ride and take our sweet time together. I even open the car’s window so the wind can blow our hairs. No effect actually because both of us spiky hairs. Hahaha. I know he enjoyed it so much from his actions and questions.
“Papa, Papa, what is that?”. Pointing to the fallen coconut tree blocking half the road. I said, “Tree. Bad tree. Not friend.” Hahahaha. We usually communicate like this. Anything not good, is ‘bad one’. Anything good is ‘Friend’. Too much counterstrike and online gaming. Hahaha.
“Papa, Papa, wahhh so faessst (fast) like Ferrari”.
“Papa, Papa, got wind in myjosh’s eyes!”. Hahahahaha.
Anyway, after all the wind blowing and father-son chit chatting, guess what? He just dozed off!

So boring all alone again. To cut thing short, reached sister’s place just about one hour and 20 minutes (I know, very slow kan), change the car and even took the bucket seat out and placed to my own car without Josh’s realized. He was still asleep. Hahaha.
The only picture I took of Papar, around the roundabout on the way back. The famous Gongs!

I actually on the wrong side of the lane. Been horned like many time because I took this picture. Apalah kan
To be continued … the next one got something to do about car insurance. Betul this.
Papajoneh.com still on Holiday!

The blog is on holiday, yeah holidays all the time. Here a short holiday announcement made through wife’s blog.
today my off day from my office work, so I decided to really ‘ignore’ this Little Knowledge blog for a while and start to work on my abandoned project at home. Call it Home Improvement.
So many things to do but so little time in hand. Furthermore, last week is the Holy Week. So I thought I relax this blog for a while on the weekend.
There are many things to tell like The Best Public Holiday for the JPP Family, The Ferrari F1 Win at Sepang Malaysia and last night football disappointment. All need to be recorded in this blog but where got time?!
To add to the waiting list of to-do task, the blog sponsor asked me to write on this box cutter thing. I know its quite cool to have such safety cutting tool in the house especially when you have kids. A kid like my Josh Luke is like a time bomb just waiting for his parents’ mistake. I would love to have this safety utility knives but as always, where got money and where go time one to order it. Everything also time consuming. Pengsan.
So see you all again, hmmm, around Friday. Ok or not? To be honest, I’m not sure myself if I can hold myself till this day. I may be online but only to check my email. If you have anything to ask, just leave a message here. I know all of you and I promise will return the favor.
*** psssst, watching Astro Channel 301 now. Yeah, the Hokkien Family Drama. Hahaha!!

My lunch – Beef Curry, 2 packet of Mamee’s Mee Goreng and Nescafe using Shell Cool Hot Temperature Mug!

Palm Sunday just for you!
Off Day, personal, Pray, Sunday March 18th, 2008 | Viewed 752 views
Palm Sunday. Yes I have attended this event at the Sacred Heart Cathedral last Sunday and I was really happy that I managed to attend it. I was and still am happy because it is hard for me to attend to any church function due to my work schedule. Yes, I work on Saturday and Sunday. So being on this important Church event among the crowd, I feel like all my sins forgiven. I hope so.
Now before I go on, yes, I am still alive and kicking at this very hour, time check now at 4:42AM. All due to yesterday’s OVERSLEPT! Hahaha!
