Today is my off day from office work and I am so glad that I am at home now.

Thinking about it, I am wondering about my retirement. I mean, not retiring from making money, but more to retire from my office work which need me to be in that cold computer room. I hate that environment.

I am thinking of having my own “office at home”. It will be neat. I can attend my family need and request and at the same time can do my internet work with home comfort. So yes, lets think about the equipment needed to achieve this. I have my desktop computer already. I have one laptop and one netbook. What else? Table and chair easy. I have them ready years ago. Now all I need, I think is a printer.

Okay, among many of the hp printers out there, can any of you guys recommend me one that suitable for Home Office usage. I like HP. They never failed to perform as intended. Furthermore, HP represent “Home Product” and that is always good for me. Hehe.

Office time? yeah, the time that I really hate to be into as this very moment!

So boring here as I am working alone now. Pretty damn cold in this small computer room. Imagine with big 2 horsepower air-conditioners facing me now!!

On the other hand, I love working alone. No one to disturb or avoid working. It is all just me and myself and my Dolby Home theater laptop. Oh ya, did I mention in front of me now, LIVE Astro Channels displaying its awesomeness through the big 48 inches plasma TV?? Well, yeah we have everything here, except the toilet which obviously NEED to be outside the room. Haha.

Anyway, I thought I love my job. Honestly speaking, one does not need the online it degree to be able working here. The work is simple, stay in the room, pickup the telephone when it rings and stay in the room till the end of the working hour. simple right?

Well, try working on most of the public holidays, weekend and on Labour Day???? Can you feel my pain now?

Haha.

Office story again. What do you expect from this title? One favorite office story, I think, is a ghost story. Well, what else right. Well, I do know one story about our own colleagues get into each other privately, u know what I mean. Hehe.

Anyway, it is a boring Saturday today. I am gonna work till night time again. That is the sad part. I wish I can get another job with 5 days working time only or just quit office work and concentrates on internet making money project. I just want to be free with my kids and wife – especially when they are at home and I am at work. I hate my job. Honestly, seriously.

Wow thats a long title! Okay you asked for it, I repeat, Happy Weekend just before the Big Christmas Celebration! Now you ready or not? LOL.

Anyway, since today is my final Friday before Christmas where I am working alone again, where the telephone never stop ringing and I am taking my lunch(Danone Chipsmore cookies) indoor because cannot leave the room, I just want to wish you all a Happy Weekend and advance Merry Christmas.

I am actually watching the Astro Live on the Badminton World Super Series happening near us, the Likas Sports Complex. And Yesssss, I saw Lee Chong Wei beat Peter Gade. It was not easy for him, winning by a point or two only. Pretty interesting indeed. At least I’m not so boring in the computer room.

Anyway, just want to share that I will be off for two days this weekend like once in month only and be spending time with the kids and the mommy, play indoor swimming pool and maybe later with my radio control trucks. So if you not doing anything this weekend, if you are around KK Sabah, come to watch us bashing radio control trucks and buggies this Sunday at Likas Sports Complex empty land at far corner. Just come and say Hi to me.

Oh ya, no more Christmas shopping. Not enough money, what to buy. Maybe just watch, look-look only. Sigh. Hahahahaha. But nevermind, as long as the family is around me, I’ll be ok. And oh ya, as long as my rc buggy engine still starts perfectly, I don’t mind too.

*I actually forcing myself to smile. I’ve been cursing since this morning because I’m working alone. Colleague last minute took leave and every work and damn all calls suddenly focusing on today.

Recently, our holding company did the corporate performance management round on all his sub companies and the result of this, many of the staffs left unsatisfied. Sadly, due to this performance check, one of our senior finance manager been given the famous line of words used by Donald Trump, “You’re Fired!” letter.

This is no rumors. This is the real thing. He is leaving at the end of this month. He has been working for more than a year but interestingly, he is still under probation. I heard, he had been under tremendous pressure form the above to do things that actually not his job and responsibility. For the record, we never been so lucky to have our accountant to stay more than 2 years. All either resign on their own or fired instantly. So you see, it is really tough working in my company. Either you just shut up and follow or get ready to pack your things at the moment notice.

Imagine, I have been working in the same company for like, hmm, 13 years plus. I have been in the same Computer Dept, with the same colleague (well two left for better pay), and I have been push here and there, up and down and I too, almost seen the exit door.

Believe it or not, this is a retyped post made at around 3-4pm just now but somehow lost in the cyber space. I have to put back with the same title aka permalink to make everything work as it is. I cannot even retrieved a single word though Google cache the link but all lead to my 404 page.

OK never mind. To you probably “What Papa? This is your first posting since the sorry busy bah post” . Anyway, I was saying actually about when you are in a hurry, and you do not have anything to share, you just might as well talk about your food during lunch time as Kay suggested before. Some also advised me to talk about the office and the favorite of course to talk about my children. So, OK. I will tell each of them here. I will be here till 8pm anyway. So might as well story-telling dulu.

Anyway, this is about the security camera installed on our office building. I personally call them the Private Intervention Camera. Just recently our Big Boss decided to install cameras all over the office premise. Yep, on every floor, stairs and parking lot. The gen set room is not spared at all. In my our computer room alone, we have three cameras. Behind, in front and on my left side. Yes just behind me. Imagine that.

I could not take picture of the cameras inside our room because it will definitely be seen but I managed to take one shot outside our corridor as the above. Our room is at the far end and on the right side is the toilet door. So Boss can actually can see us and can track how long we out of the room or probably how long we lepak in the toilet. To the smokers, ‘habis cerita’ because our boss hates those who smoking. Hahaha. Not only there are many cameras around the office premise, there is one camera that really bothers everyone. The camera that facing the kitchen door and the door never close one. Aiiyoooohh.

We just found out that all the cameras do recording up to 40 days. Interestingly, as one of the days the technician around to install the camera at our corridor, I noticed all the cameras inter-connected with fiber optic cables right up to the recorder behind his Personal Assistant (PA) chair hidden with keyless door. So cool. To add to that, he even uses, are you ready for this? He uses Celcom 3G to view us all here in the office while he relaxing at home on his leather sofa. Wah la weiiiiiiiiiiiii. Welll, he is after all a Datuk. Money is a no problem. Cilaka

No wonder lah all the staffs downstairs’, the operation, accounts and admin all seems to be working harder than usual even though the Big Boss is not around. Usually they like to lepak in the kitchen, go out late like 2-3 hours lunch. Now habis – all monitored.

Even for me right now, he is actually like behind me from the dome camera. One thing that relieves me is that all the cameras no zooming capability. Nasibbbbbbbbbb. If not sure he can read what I’m typing here and probably you can really see me by this weekend, A RETIRED STAFF!
