Do you play golf?

Badminton, Paid Link, Ping Golf, PU2B August 25th, 2007 | Viewed 741 views

Friend, [tag]do you play golf?[/tag] If you do play golf, do you ever thought how much you are going to spend buying all those necessary clubs, irons, shirt and not forgetting the suitable shoe for golf. Not to mention that you do need to join at least one golf club to enable you to use their greens. Now, that will cost you a lot. Well at least, that was what my brothers told me. I may get the details wrong here but I think I have covered something there about golf.

Obviously, I do not play golf or watch any news about golfing but I do know what is Ping Golf and [tag]Tiger Wood[/tag]. Just for additional info, all three my brothers play golf and they are all into it for serious. They even bought me one set of clubs, yes coincidently the [tag]Ping golf set[/tag] too, so I can join them in the driving range. However, I said “No, thank you. I am only into radio control nitro”.

Interestingly, they also become coaches to some ‘taukes’ aka Chinese business proprietors who requested their service in the driving range. They teach them on how to swing the club or irons properly, how to stand with the right leg distance and face direction etc. This is the one thing I like about golf, which it brings you influential contacts and friends. Try getting this kind of VIP by playing, let say, badminton. I do not think so you can get such ‘respect’ from it. I am not against anyone out there playing badminton, ok. I, myself play badminton too. For the sake of this post, I have four brands of badminton racket in my possession and guess what, I do watch badminton and I do know who are Misbun Sidek and the family and even Prakash Padukon. Now you know. :D

All lights up!

outdoor lighting, Paid Link, Prohibition, PU2B August 25th, 2007 | Viewed 574 views

I want to share another [tag]‘pantang’ or prohibition[/tag] that my mother insists we should follow during the confinement period. All outdoor lightings must be switched on as soon as dusk time or evening. The house must not be in the dark. Every corner, front, side, back and even in our empty bedroom, the lights must all be light up.

Now, for me this is too much already. Electricity is not free, you know. Especially now where we are sleeping downstairs with every oscillator fan switch on. Therefore, I asked my Mom why I have to do this. She just smiled and asked back at me, “Do you like bad spirit to come to your house and disturb your family, Josh and especially your new born twins?”

“Of course, no!” I replied instantly.

“Well, do you think bad spirit like to hang out in a dark or in a bright area?” Mom asked.

“In the dark, of course.” I said.

“So, do you think by turning all the lights on especially on the outside, the bad spirit will come and disturb your family again or they simply go to other dark house to hang out?” my Mom asked me.

I was like “Hmmm, I think they will go to the other dark house. I hope so.”

My Mom gave me the grin look and said, “I think you have answered yourself the question you’d asked me”.

I feel cheated and defeated. My Mom actually used the “Answer question with question” and “Don’t make statement, ask question!” on me and I was totally beaten on my own turf.

All right Mom, you win this time. I surrender. :P
So like the obedience son I should be, I went shopping for the auto light sensor for all the [tag]outdoor lighting[/tag]s. Installed and I am free again. No more manual labor involved. Done for good. [tag]All Lights up![/tag] :D

What do I miss most during and after pregnancy

family, Paid Link, PU2B, Twins, Wedding August 24th, 2007 | Viewed 1,197 views

Talking about [tag]the few things that I missed during and after my wife pregnancy[/tag], I think I can say a lot. However, one thing I really miss the most is my hobby of radio control nitro off road racing. Yes, I have to say this is the one. It is more than hobby. It is my passion. If its involve thousands of Ringgit Malaysia, yes, considered it passion. You can say I am crazy about it and I totally agree 100% :D

With so many ‘pantangs’ aka abstinence, working on my RC stuff is a seriously no-no according to my traditional parents. Stuffs like opening the rc nitro engine to pieces, cleaning the carburetor, the piston, crankshaft, fixing the truck absorbers, tuning and setup the chassis to jump level, all this my mother said, NO! Do not ask why from a hardcore believer and daughter of village head bomoh aka medicine man. You will regret the answer that coming back to you. So, obviously, I just shut up and follow everything. So now, you all know. :P

The other thing is the non-stop wedding invitations we received during the month of July and especially this August. In fact, we have two weddings just this weekend alone. Both of them are close relatives. There are two more invitations coming September too. For goodness sake, I could not even go to Huisia’s Elijah full moon party last month. So sad. What to do? Even though I love going to such events, like meeting lots of friend and have license to drink, I just could not afford bringing my wife along with her big twins inside and now that they are out, we still stuck in the house, caring them. Big sigh.

I want to go on saying my frustration here, especially knowing my friends, relatives enjoying outside, but I know I cannot say it or even think about it. My wife, my children are more important than anything else is. Honestly, yes, I miss all that. Nevertheless, I know my priority. I just have to bite my lips and be satisfied with everything going on. After all, I have one lovely wife who always there for me (hard to do vice versa). I have two identical twin boys who never stop to amaze and puzzle me on which one of them Preston or Presley. Finally yet importantly, three years old son, Josh, which always want to test my patience but knows how to switch me back to pampering him again.

Now, that’s ladies and gentlemen, my story I want to share with you all. How about you? Anything similar that you want to share? You know I appreciate any comment you make. So, do not be shy. I promise this is just between us and … oh ya, the rest of the world too :D

OK, time’s up. Wife call already – Preston need 60ml of milk. See you all around later.

Do you want to listen to my Petrol Story here or not?

Paid Link, PU2B, Transfer tank August 23rd, 2007 | Viewed 532 views

I better write this experience before I forgot. This happened recently when I ran out of petrol just a Kilometer away from the nearest Shell Station. Alright, I admit, I am using Shell petrol. Well, to be honest I want the bonuslink points that come with it. Hey, who said I cannot right? In fact I have many wonderful great items exchanged in the past years. I am a loyalist. Once I got hooked to certain thing, I usually stuck with it forever. Disclaimer here, I am not promoting Shell as if I got paid to say it. No. None and zero. I wish Shell marketing personnel Google this and realized I am actually promoting them and that I am worthy of at least RM50 for the statement here. :D

Oh my, I forgot about the whole story already why I want to write this post. Oh ya, about the out of petrol thing. You see, to cut thing short, I walked to this “Shell station” again to buy petrol and said to the ‘petrol attendant’ that I wish to buy a RM5 worth of petrol and I want it to be transferred inside my Pepsi 1.5litre bottle.

Guess what the man said, “Sorry ah, you cannot use this type of bottle to put the petrol. You need a proper transfer tank to do it”.
I was like, what!?! “Alright,” I said, “So does your station has this so called tank to sell so I can use it”, I ask.

The man said, “Sorry again ah. Nope. We do not have that for sell here”.

At this time I already reaching my boiling point but somehow I managed to fake a smile and ask politely again, “Hmm, can I use my water bottle tupperware to fill it? After all, I’m not asking many. Will it be okay?”

Guess what the man said again … “Sorry, cannot! You need proper tank to transfer the petrol.”

I said while almost want to slap the person kind of action here, “So, how? Can you help me to find the tank or anything so I can just walk back to my car. ”

Can you guess what the man said after that? He said this, “Sorry that is your problem boss. We do not have the tank here. You have to find yourself. We cannot help you.”

Wahhhh!!! After all the “Sorries”, four times you know and still I cannot get my petrol. I am paying them you know. I want to curse also cannot here. After all, you all read up to here and already at 435 words, you think I want go on meh… crazy. It’s 5:50am already you know. So better stop now or at least this post. OK, its 460 words. Stop.

*** Attention, Shell people – please teach your staff manners and please keep the gallon tank thing ready in you station. This is not a true story, but I think i gotcha there :D

What would you do with your stock truck?

Paid Link, PU2B, Tonneau cover August 21st, 2007 | Viewed 784 views

Yeah, what would you do with your stock truck? Normally we do not call them truck here due to their smaller size compares to their cousin in America. Either we have the four by four vehicle with everything fully covered or the open bed pickup style like the one we have so many here in Sabah.

My friend Kay talked about this state, tonneau cover truck hereLand below the Wind kind of terrain and that he loves about driving his Dad’s four-wheel drive truck. I for one too love driving four-wheel drive vehicle but sadly, I do not have one other than my radio control nitro off-road truck. The feeling quite different and furthermore with the real 1:1 scale thing, I can install the tonneau cover on its bed and once for all protecting everything inside. With no drilling, no big hassle, completed in less than 20 minutes. Now, that is one thing that I would do for my truck when I finally have it. :D

Is too many of everything good for you?

Branson Missouri, Paid Link, PU2B August 20th, 2007 | Viewed 751 views

As I said before, whenever I go check my email inbox there is always something else that blocking me from completely reading new ones. What more now that I am really busy with my kids. Nevertheless, when I do managed to open them, there were like 10 to 20 opportunities for me to make money online. All waiting for me to accept and posting them in the blog. Where got time to do all this? Some already overdue like this one task that I have to talk about the Branson Missouri. Do you have any idea what is this?

Branson giveaway poster hereIt is supposed to be a vacation-booking site where it claimed as “Live Music Capital of the World” at bransongetaways.com. You can choose the vacation package available or simply set your own. Now that is cool. Sadly, it is not in our country. Oh heck, it is a well-known saying that it is always greener on the other side. Something likes that and I hope you understand my English. I am in a hurry anyway. My boy Preston is crying again. Geez.

Insurance, Life, Paid Link, PU2B August 17th, 2007 | Viewed 1,051 views
