Just survived the most exciting gathering I ever been through, The Sabahan Bloggers Gathering 2008 aka SBG ‘08. The organizing people had done a great job, namely JACQ, Weichuen, Dino, Julian and Fara. Mel from Kadazanbonita.com and Daniel from danielfranklingomez.com came all the way from KL bringing their mystery stuffs aka gifts aka sponsorships to all Sabahan Bloggers. I believe none going home feeling sad. In fact, everyone should STILL be excited about the Bloggers Gathering and can’t wait for the next one.

Well, probably not that soonlah. Crazy ah. If you ask the above names again will they do it again, I’m pretty sure, the answer will be, “Hmmm… let us rest first!”. Hahahaha.

Why ah? I also don’t know. It’s the new thing. It’s the new happening in town. If you are living around Kota Kinabalu, you should at least once go here. Why? Well, our CM said so. Yes, that is Chief Minister Datuk Musa Aman said so. Hahaha.

So many things to see and they are really so many shops there. I have like in a hundred of shots just on my first visit. It’s a ‘Normal’ thing for a busy Papa like me. When you seldom go out, new thing like this sure attract my attention and definitely my camera 1GB memory won’t be enough.

I almost forgot, this is for my own record or maybe for you Sabahans too. For info, this coming August 2008, between 2nd and 9th August 2008, there will be another Sabahan Bloggers Meeting. So if you are Sabahan, please make yourself available. No excuse ok. Excuse for the non-Sabahan only. I know a few very well known Sabahan Bloggers who have not made themselves available for the last 2007 Sabahan Bloggers Meeting at Pirates of Borneo. The location of the Pirates of Borneo courtesy of Google Map.

Yes, just a rambling here. Nothing to shout of. It is just my note for my own record. It is a nice morning simply because I woke up at 4am panic. Yes PANIC! I thought I have to go somewhere, like a trip to airport to fly somewhere. Maybe its the indication for the next holiday to really fly somewhere rather than just driving like the recent trip to Keningau; Of which I have not blog about it too.
So many things to talk but I decided to just lepak hang around at friends blog.
Tip Of Borneo |Simpang Mengayau
Borneo, Kudat, Sabah, Sabahan, Son Josh, family, travel November 22nd, 2007 | Viewed 464 views
Just want to share a bit on our trip to Tip Of The Borneo, Simpang Mengayau, Kudat. I have not good in words but I hope my pictures can explain a little bit of what a wonderful sight of Simpang Mengayau, Tip of Borneo is. We went to Kudat when Josh was only 5 months old and our car was only 6 months old. Believe it or not, I never been to Kudat and especially to this Simpang Mengayau. Nervertheless, I’m an adventurous person when comes to traveling. As long as in the map, I can find one. I even bring my own compass just to make sure. Ha-ha. However, to those never been to kudat, it is actually not so hard. There are signs everywhere and being the “kepochee” person also good. Go ask the people for direction. So far, I never encountered any Kudat people that don’t smile. They are friendly and willingly pointed you to the right direction. So, to them, I take my hat off.

Yah man. So many Halo here, Halo there but no one say aloha. But why anyway right? Haha. Unless you want to talk about this Halo then no comment lah because that will be my son’s interest. Anyway, this is my version of this phenomenon Halo that happened in Sabah. This is just to mark in my blog archives that I have seen it too, took pictures of it and forgot to post about it until I found out it is one of the biggest thing ever happen in Sabah. Actually it happened just outside my garage yesterday. Yabah.
