myJosh first few days school update, little update!

Parenting, Son Josh, personal July 2nd, 2008 | Viewed 75 views

I have so many pictures and stories to tell on Josh’s first day schooling but somehow this is the only time i can write, sharing in this blog .. in 10 minutes time only. So, its definitely gonna be short.

Now only on his 3rd day schooling. Josh knows his class is upstairs already. On the two days before, wife guided him to his class but not today since both of us working already. We could not stay longer since the traffic in the school is like, you drop your kid and move out. Well, against our own will we just have to rely on Josh’s own self. Furthermore, the teachers are always there taking the kid out of the car and ushering them to their respected classes. We managed to hold a few cars behind so we can see whether Josh know where his class is. We managed to peek he went up the stairs on his own. He even walked slowly passing the other bigger kids’ classes and peeked on them.

We were so nervous, especially me. I wanted to ask wife go down and check on him but I hold on to my thoughts. This is the time to let him go on his own. Yeah, easy to say but that is not what I felt at that time and currently, still I feel like that. Hey, my elder son, my proud one. Of course I am nervous. Now you know how much I love this kid. Like he cries I cry too.

OK time out. Need to fetch him already. See, no time. Will follow up this afterward. First day and second day stories need to blog and pictures again. Aiiyaaaaahh where’s the time.

Busy Weekend But Priceless!

Football, Son Josh, family, special day June 30th, 2008 | Viewed 111 views

Busy weekend. Just updating this blog with few words or sentences or probably if I got the energy few photos for you all. Psst, I need energy to watch the full final of the Euro Cup Final lah. Between Germany vs Spain. MyJosh Luke is accompanying me now. He’s still watching channel 616 at this very hour.

I just summarize what we have been up to.

  • Been the driver for few days to fetch my SIL’s children from school. Taking, bringing to lunch and ensuring they inside the house safely. This actually to prepare me for my own Josh schooling time. Now I know how tough and busy you will be driving here and there while you yourself are still have to return work in 1 hour time. No such thing. 1 hour is definitely not enough with the traffic jam in the way.
  • Been spending time with Josh more. Driving around with him as my co-driver, Playing every games he asked me to join or lead and working on a project together. I usually won’t let him follow or join me whenever it involves super tools like drills, hammer or screwdrivers but this time, I just let and teach him. Precious moment.
  • Early Sunday morning, we joined the Family Run (Larian Keluarga) at Bukit Padang. Wife’s office is the official media. I took annual leave just for this Sunday Jogging. Bought new sports shoes for wife, Josh and myself just for this event. I’m talking running shoes ok. I’m going to tell you all later how it went. I tell you this, really tired.
  • After the Larian, big breakfast where everything double we ordered, we decided the day is still young. We decided, well Josh actually, to NOT go home like Josh’s said, “Papa, don’t want go home”. So, we went resorts hopping. In short, we went Taman Buaya Tuaran, Mimpian Jadi Resort, Tuaran Beach Resort (Shah Bandar), Rasa Ria Resort and finally the 6 stars Karambunai Resort. In short, I’m the driver so tired, reached home flat fall asleep on Josh’s bed.

There in short with no pictures yet. Other than the important final match between Germany and Spain, there is one more that gives the feeling of butterfly in the stomach.. entah apa punya peribahasa tu. I say, I feel so crazy nervous. Nervous as I said before in “My Josh Luke finally wants to go school!”, well it is going to be in less than 7 hours from now.

Tomorrow, I mean today by 6am 30th June, we will be awake and ready for Josh first ever school day at Yuk Yu Kindergarden School. His class will start at 8am. Knowing that we will have to send the twins at our auntie, we have to prepare even earlier to counter the traffic jam. I am not sure I can go to sleep. I’m so so nervous. As they said, like the curiosity cat that loves his cat tree, I on the other hand, curious how my son will behave. Will he be able to stay put inside the class or run outside and play the slide. Will he cry and ask for his mommy (or me) to stay and wait for him? I don’t know. I expect the worst. So I guess I just finger crossed and pray that he will be good with his friends and teachers.

After all, I already applied leave for today Monday too just to make sure I’ll be there whenever he ask for me … or the teacher ask me to fetch him back because of his ‘naughtiness’. I’m ready I guess. Expect the worst than wife and me be ok.

MyJoshLuke finally wants to go to school!

Life, Parenting, Penampang, Son Josh, personal June 24th, 2008 | Viewed 154 views

Yep, my son Josh Luke finally decided it is best to go to school than just staying at home looking at his twin brothers happily chewing their pacifiers. my Josh Luke got so fed up looking at everyone, his cousins, his Che Che (sister), his Koh Koh(brother) all going to school and leaving him behind. He got so jealous, he finally asked us to ‘make him’ go to school. Yeah, so many “go to school” words here. Don’t you just love me for that? :D

He is just turned 4 years old recently. Remember the Josh 4 years old AirAsia Birthday Cake? Well, that’s 4 years old for him. We are actually holding him going to school until he reach that age. For me, anything early than that is just not right for him. He is just not ready. For me, I want him to really enjoy his young age with no rules, just play. However, since he is already 4 years and he already wise enough to ask us to go to school, we just follow. See, he’s matured enough to ask for it without us forcing him. So I believe, we make the right decision for him. :)

OK enough of that. Pictures time below taken last week on his first exposure to school environment. Warning, lotsa pictures down here. Read the rest of this entry »

What do FAMILY really means to you?

Preston and Presley, Son Josh, family, personal June 19th, 2008 | Viewed 177 views

What is FAMILY to you? What does it mean in real life other than what the text said and explained. How do you define the true meaning of the word FAMILY? Is it just a word in the dictionary or is it really has something more meaningful than just a word?

I am no good in elaborating the word FAMILY or any other words in English or whatever the real thing about it. All I know, it is the core of my life. Without it, I might as well die. Yep, I am being emotional. I am after all a Papa, father to this three little kids who know nothing about paying bills and taxes, debts and expenses. One thing they do know is LOVE. Pure virgin white love.

my children is my life

Thanks to my friend Gilbert for sharing this through email. I am so touched and feel real guilty. Sometimes things happened without realizing it. Wife said Mommy’s not perfect and I think me Papa even worst. I am guilty as charged too :(

Please continue reading and I hope you can feel what I am feeling right now too. Read the rest of this entry »

MyJosh 4th Birthday!

Son Josh May 29th, 2008 | Viewed 388 views

What a great weekend. It all happened on the day we celebrated our eight years wedding anniversary. It happened on Sunday 25th May 2008. Yeah, one day earlier of MyJosh actual birth date, 26th May and on my taken annual leave day. The day where supposed to be my full day, celebrate up to night, ‘aramaitee’ (drinking session), but sadly, still have to go to work at night time. Sigh.

Oh what the heck. It was still a blast. I am sure my son Josh enjoyed very much the day he anxiously want to blow the candles. He always wanted to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ and always wanted to blow candles even just on the normal white candle. One more thing, he just wanted a specific cake. A cake with an aeroplane that is red in color. Oh my goodness, that is the order, that is his specific order that he kept telling us whenever we asked him, “Josh, what cake you want?”. He always said before that, “MyJosh want aeroplane cake, red color aeroplane!”. Wahhhhh. All the three or maybe four times we asked, he always said the same answer, red aeroplane cake! So here it is … “was” the right word! LOL. Read the rest of this entry »

My Twins are 9 Months Today!

Announcement, Preston and Presley, Son Josh, Twins, special day May 10th, 2008 | Viewed 216 views

Yes, Preston and Presley are now 9 months old at 10th May 2008. They are bigger than Josh when Josh himself was 9 months. That is for sure. Just check this picture. Josh will not stand a chance if both of them as tag team. Sure surrender, white flag! LOL.

My 3 cute boys, twins and Josh Luke
Preston, Presley and Josh Luke in that order. Yes, Presley the serious one. Presley and Josh like to glance like that - “Jelingan maut” as we call it. LOL. Preston is the round, circle one, as Josh described him. LOL.

I have a video of them during the feeding time but it’s too big to be uploaded. Just imagine in your head now, my wife has to feed on the left and then on right and then on the left and then on the right.. and sometimes, right, right, left, right again, right again… left… ok u got what I mean. Can you guess, who is on the right side? Aha! Another contest here. If you can guess who’s on the right, you have 50-50 chance here, the first one to say it correct, her blog will be featured here. I want to give USD$5, but then, you do not want to be greedy right. LOL.

Anyway, no wonder my twins are so fond of me this morning. They never did before this. Always, Mama, mama, mama… until I also like Josh, Jealous. But today, they are just so adorable. Both of them on top of me, tickling, ruining my hair, poking inside my nose, digging inside my mouth… all for their adventure game. I love it. Sadly, no camera lady around to take it. Wasted.

Month of May is always busy for us. Wedding anniversary and especially Josh 4 years old Birthday. Hmm. Sigh. No party for him if not we would have send the party invitations earlier already. Not this year. Honestly, I would love to but just cannot afford to make big one. So sorry guys.

** I hope I strike the Jackpot MEGA tu. 10 millions man!

Ok, wife buzzed me - me off day, she works half day. Off I go, hopefully Iron Man later on. ;)

Holiday Project 1: Plumbing!

Holidays, Home improvements, Son Josh, tools April 15th, 2008 | Viewed 231 views

The only time available and I want to do it with my son Josh - together-gather. At last, my first project been long delayed and at last we did it. Josh could not be happier. The project was to connect two water filters, side by side, with two different type of filtration, chlorine and 1 micron size filters. I have installed two water filters earlier at the main with 5 micron size filters and they did good job at stopping the dirts.

This is of course for washing, cooking and for kids drinking. Now, this type of water filtration works best with some boiling afterward and not direct drinking. Direct drinking from the tap need the UV light filter where it can kills germs effectively. That I leave to my reliable expensive AMWAY Water Filter System (WTS).

Digging for the pipes

Together with the above tools and accessories, you also need the drill machine. I installed this onto the tiles, so you need drill to punch holes, to put the screws on. You have got to have the right tool. What can I say, I love collecting tools and I have every bit of them to make my life easier. Josh is watching you know ;) Read the rest of this entry »
